About Corsi Block Tapping Game
Corsi Block Test is a small spatial-sequence game built around a simple visible board. The board has nine labelled locations arranged in three rows. A fixed route highlights one location at a time, and then you repeat those locations in the same order. The first route has three steps; later routes extend through spans of four, five, six, and seven. The route is product-authored and disclosed through the game behaviour, rather than being an opaque random sequence or a borrowed test score. That makes the activity easy to replay and easy to understand as a game. It does not turn a short browser interaction into a statement about a person.
Choose Show round when you are ready. The first highlighted block stays on screen until you choose Show next block, so an animation cannot rush past while you are looking away. After the final displayed location, the board becomes active. Tap or click the labelled squares in the order you saw them. If a physical keyboard is convenient, keys 1 through 9 select the matching board locations. The controls are ordinary labelled buttons, so pointer and keyboard play both use the same visible route. A square that has already been chosen is disabled for that answer, preventing an accidental second press from silently becoming another step.
Each round is either correct or incorrect only after you have supplied its full sequence. A correct route adds points based on its span and unlocks the next fixed span. An incorrect full route returns you to the same span, so you can see exactly what part of the route you are attempting again. Two incorrect full answers end that private run and leave the board frozen until Restart. That completion rule is deliberately game-like and does not represent a threshold, cutoff, grade, screening result, or norm. It is just the rule for this set of fixed browser fixtures.
The shared game shell can show a best score saved in this browser. It is not an online leaderboard and it is not sent to Lizely. Restart creates a fresh local playthrough with the same transparent route. The page does not request an account, name, camera, microphone, uploaded file, or profile. You can use it for a short focused break, to practise following a visible sequence, or simply to compare your own attempts under the same game rules. Familiarity, interruptions, input device, and screen size can all change how a route feels, which is why a private round should remain a private round.
This is an entertainment exercise, not a clinical/IQ/cognitive assessment. It does not diagnose attention, measure intelligence, or show whether your brain has improved. The fixed board route has no population norm, health interpretation, educational score, or professional meaning. It is not a treatment, screening tool, memory evaluation, or substitute for an assessment from a qualified service. If you need support or an evaluation for school, work, health, or accessibility, this game cannot provide it.
Related site games use different fixed rules, but their results should not be added together or treated as a combined profile. Open a round when you have a moment, watch each highlighted block, repeat the route in order, and read the final score only as a record of this local game session.
Methodology & sources
Five fixed product-authored routes use labelled positions on a 3×3 board and spans of three through seven. Before a run, the player selects forward or reverse recall; every full answer must match that one selected order exactly. The page stores only a local browser best score and uses no clinical protocol, norm table, diagnostic cutoff, or external benchmark.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this Corsi Block Test a memory or IQ assessment?
- No. It is an entertainment game with fixed product-authored routes, no norm group, no clinical cutoff, and no intelligence score.
- Can I switch between forward and reverse in one run?
- Choose Forward order or Reverse order before starting. The choice stays fixed for that local run so its score describes one clear game rule.
- What happens after an incorrect route?
- A full incorrect answer returns to the same span. Two incorrect full answers end that local run; Restart begins the same fixed game route again.
