The run ends when the board is full and no merges remain. This Lizely version follows the original merge rules precisely — each tile merges at most once per move, so a row of 2-2-4 becomes 4-4, never 8 — and your score climbs by the value of every merge you make. The reliable strategy is to pick one corner, keep your largest tile there, and build descending chains toward it; random swiping stalls out around 256, while corner play routinely reaches 1024 and beyond. Your best score is saved on this device, the whole game runs locally in your browser, and a double press of Esc flips the board into a spreadsheet-style boss key screen.
