The result shows the astronomical longitude, degree within the selected Western tropical sector, normalized calculation time, and distance to the nearest 30-degree boundary. It does not ask for a birthplace, coordinates, GPS, an account, or a file upload.

The calculation is intentionally narrower than a natal chart. The observer origin is Earth's center, so location is not part of the positional quantity. Birthplace inputs on larger astrology products normally help resolve a historical time convention and calculate local houses or the Ascendant. Here, the visitor supplies a documented UTC or UTC-equivalent offset for the historical moment, and the tool calculates no house, aspect, return, synastry, or topocentric position.

The coordinate and display rules are explicit. The astronomy adapter obtains an apparent Earth-center Venus vector, including light travel time and aberration, and converts it to true ecliptic-of-date longitude. Lizely then normalizes the angle to zero through less than 360 degrees and overlays twelve equal Western tropical sectors. Aries begins at zero degrees, Taurus at 30, and the half-open sequence continues through Pisces at 330.
