The Hidden Passion Number Calculator implements a narrow traditional numerology operation: normalize a full birth name, map each retained letter to a Pythagorean value from 1 through 9, count the values, and report every value tied for the greatest frequency. The historical label is shown because it names the cited convention. The calculator does not interpret the result as a talent, personality trait, motivation, destiny, or scientific measurement.

Enter the complete name given at birth. The shared name normalizer converts letters with diacritics to their basic Latin equivalents, changes case consistently, collapses whitespace, and removes punctuation or digits rather than assigning them invented values. At least one A–Z letter must remain. The submitted text is limited to 120 characters, matching the site's other birth-name calculators. The normalized form is displayed so the exact input used for counting can be checked.

Every normalized letter is passed to the site's reviewed Pythagorean mapping. A, J, and S map to 1; B, K, and T map to 2; C, L, and U map to 3; D, M, and V map to 4; E, N, and W map to 5; F, O, and X map to 6; G, P, and Y map to 7; H, Q, and Z map to 8; and I and R map to 9. The implementation imports this table and its letter lookup from the existing Numerology Calculator instead of maintaining a second copy.

The result table lists all nine values in ascending order, the letters assigned to each row, and the observed count. The greatest count is selected after all letters have been processed. Any row with that exact count is retained. This tie rule is deliberate: the cited sources permit more than one Hidden Passion result when multiple values occur equally often. The calculator never breaks a tie by choosing the first row, using the largest number, or applying an undocumented secondary rule.

Methodology & sources

The implementation reuses normalizeBirthName, PYTHAGOREAN_ROWS, and letterValue from the reviewed numerology module. It creates a fixed nine-entry count array, increments the mapped row for each normalized letter, finds the maximum count, and retains every row equal to that maximum in ascending order. Ten evidence-bound fixtures deep-compare normalized names, full count arrays, maxima, and tied results.
