About Truth or Dare Generator
Truth or Dare Generator gives casual groups a quick prompt when nobody wants to think of the next question. Choose Truth only, Dare only, or Surprise me for a random mix, then press Get a prompt. Truth questions focus on preferences, goals, harmless stories, and positive reflection. Dares use short, low-stakes activities such as impressions, drawing, humming, storytelling, and friendly compliments.
The built-in set is intentionally family-friendly and avoids requests involving secrets, humiliation, dangerous stunts, substances, sexual content, property damage, harassment, or sharing private information. That makes the generator suitable for many parties, classrooms, team icebreakers, family gatherings, and video calls. A group can still have different ages, needs, boundaries, and surroundings, so every player should always be free to skip a prompt without explanation.
Prompt selection happens entirely in your browser. The page does not ask for player names, record answers, use a camera, or send choices to a server. Secure browser randomness chooses from the selected prompt list when you press the button. Select the same mode and generate again whenever you want a different question or challenge.
Before playing, agree on a simple skip rule and keep physical dares appropriate for the room. Do not use the generator to pressure someone into revealing personal information, performing a risky activity, or doing anything that conflicts with accessibility, workplace, school, or household rules. The tool is entertainment, not a test of honesty or courage. A good round keeps the pace light, respects a no immediately, and lets the group move on to the next prompt.
Methodology & sources
The tool selects from two fixed, original 12-item prompt lists. Browser cryptographic randomness uses bounded rejection sampling to choose the prompt type in mixed mode and then an unbiased index from the selected list.
